We are delighted that Mika Laukkanen has joined Data Design as a new partner. With a rich background of over 20 years, Mika has mastered the art of transforming data assets into invaluable business insights.
Mika's Background
As a seasoned expert in AI, business intelligence, data warehousing, and advanced data analytics, Mika has collaborated with more than 200 organizations across diverse sectors, empowering them to harness the full potential of their data.
Before joining Data Design, Mika co-founded Louhia Consulting and Louhia Analytics, where he served as CEO for nine years. Both companies focused on machine learning solutions, and management consulting services. Louhia Analytics was later acquired by Bilot Plc.
Following his time at Louhia, Mika assumed advisory consulting and coaching roles at Bilot Plc and Silo.AI, where he helped businesses craft data strategies and AI initiatives.
Furthermore, Mika played an active role in developing Finland’s Artificial Intelligence Accelerator (FAIA), a joint venture at that time between the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Technology Industries of Finland, and Silo AI.
Mika holds a master’s degree from the University of Eastern Finland, with majors in economics, statistics, econometrics, and game theory. His passion for numbers is genuinely unparalleled.
