Education and Background
Håvard holds a Master of Science in Machine Learning and Signal Processing from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, where he also completed his Bachelor of Technology. His academic foundation, combined with practical experience across multiple industries, gives him a versatile perspective on applying AI to solve real-world problems.
Experience in Generative AI
Håvard’s journey in generative AI began two years ago when he developed a sophisticated chatbot system for an investment company. This wasn’t just a simple Q&A bot – it was a full-stack application built with NextJS that could intelligently screen potential investors, schedule meetings through calendar integration, and deliver deterministic outputs through structured programming.
“I’m passionate about giving AI systems the tools to work together and solve complex business problems,” Håvard explains. “When multiple AI agents collaborate, they can handle complicated workflows that would be impossible for a single system. This means better results and more value for businesses.”
At Regius Impact, Håvard further expanded his generative AI expertise by designing and implementing a prototype multi-agent AI system. This innovative approach enabled complex task decomposition and collaborative problem-solving between AI components, showcasing his forward-thinking approach to generative AI applications.
Data Science and MLOps Excellence
During his time at Touchnetix, Håvard demonstrated exceptional skill in applying machine learning to challenging signal processing problems. He developed sophisticated models using LSTM networks and self-attention mechanisms that outperformed traditional signal processing methods by 84% in accuracy.
What sets Håvard apart is his end-to-end approach to AI implementation. He built comprehensive machine learning pipelines covering everything from data generation to model interpretability:

MLOps and Production AI
Håvard brings valuable experience in operationalizing AI through MLOps practices. He has worked extensively with Azure DevOps, MLFlow, and Weights & Biases to create reliable, maintainable AI systems that deliver consistent value. His expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates ensures that AI deployments are reproducible and scalable.
By focusing on the entire AI lifecycle, Håvard helps clients avoid common pitfalls in AI implementation. His solutions are designed to maintain performance over time without constant manual intervention, making them sustainable for long-term business use.
